Hi I’m Erin, a slow living advocate, copy editor, and gardener based in beautiful Albuquerque . NM
Whether it’s acting as an embedded content director and editor within your organization or delivering a bespoke editorial brief for a project, all of my services are designed to give you or your project the attention it deserves.
I specialize in helping those in the fields of holistic wellness, food and nutrition, Ayurveda, art + architecture clarify copy, nail messaging, and ensure that their story is shared clearly with the world.
My expertise and passion in art, art history, Ayurveda, design, elemental theory, regenerative organic farming and gardening, project management, and vastu shastra* (the relationship between people and their environment) make my approach unique.
If I’m being honest, considering everything I’ve experienced, I’d put myself in the multi-passionate category. I’m also a floral arrangement maker, gardener, cook, world traveler, and seed saver. What you’d call a bona fide sensorial architect.
Because of this, my work is inevitably colored by the intersection of plants and people, spirit and landscape, food and beauty, and the elements of nature and architectural form. I’m not only grateful but thrilled to have this kind of experience in which I can draw from.
*interested in Vāstu. I’d recommend Bernd Roessler, teacher, guide, and Jyotishi whom I deeply respect or Julia Dalalba
It’s important to mention…
I have three distinct, yet complimentary practices that inform my work: Ayurveda, gardening, and writing. How it all plays out…well, they remind me that context is everything and to pay attention, trust, and be present to the fullness of life.
Ayurveda
1
I love history, mysticism, and the healing arts. Studying and practicing Ayurveda has colored and inspired everything in my life. There is nothing that it doesn’t touch.
Gardening
2
My senior year in college I started working on a small organic farm. I’d also participated in an urban garden project associated with the university. Twenty plus years and innumerable seasons later there hasn’t been a year that I’ve haven’t tended a garden. Flowers for magic and beauty, vegetables for feeding my passion for cooking.
Writing
3
I love to write, yet admittedly it didn’t come easy. I’m much more poetic in my prose and prefer the handwritten letter or postcard. Today my writing spans the digital and analogue landscape, from newsletter to essay, to editorial review and systems organization. I appreciate how writing is a living, ever evolving practice—as methodical as it is revelatory. My hope is that it may foster an intentional pathway in.
